Bowstring Advises Vistex in its Acquisition of Counterpoint Systems

Bowstring Advisors (“Bowstring”) served as the exclusive financial advisor to Vistex, Inc. (“Vistex”), in its recent acquisition of Counterpoint Systems (“Counterpoint”). Vistex is the global leader in pricing, contract, and incentive management solutions, while Counterpoint is the world’s leading provider of rights management and royalty processing software. With Counterpoint, Vistex complements its business model and go-to-market strategy with deep domain expertise in rights, royalties, and intellectual licensing management covering all aspects of content assimilation and consumption.

Vistex’s acquisition of Counterpoint was effective February 14, 2014. Following the acquisition, Counterpoint Systems will assume the identity of “Counterpoint Systems – a Vistex Company” and continue to operate out of its offices in London and Los Angeles. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
