Steve has experience in four of Bowstring’s practices: Human Capital Management, Healthcare, Industrial Services and IT & Professional Services. He has specific specialization in Education & Training, Staffing / Recruiting and Healthcare Provider Services. Representative transactions include the sale of DSG Consulting to Stone-Goff Partners, the sale of Vaco to Quad-C Partners in 2014 and subsequent sale to Olympus Partners in 2017, the acquisition of Crisis Prevention Institute by FFL and the sale of Travel Nurse across America to Gridiron Capital.
Steve joined Bowstring Advisors in 2011 to advise growth-oriented business and healthcare services companies. Bowstrings’ sector focus and entrepreneurial culture initially attracted him to join the firm as a Senior Analyst. During his tenure at Bowstring, during which the firm has nearly quadrupled in size, he has progressed to Director. Since joining Bowstring, Steve has completed over 25 M&A transactions.
Prior to joining Bowstring, Steve was a Senior Consultant in the Corporate Finance and Restructuring practice at FTI Consulting. While at FTI, Steve helped clients raise capital and advised boards and senior management teams through Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. He also completed M&A transactions including recapitalizations, acquisitions and divestitures, and effectuated performance improvement and cost rationalization initiatives.
Steve graduated from Vanderbilt University. He lives in Atlanta where he is active in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program of Metro Atlanta.
