Ross believes that a transaction is truly successful only when it meets or exceeds all client objectives. He therefore subscribes wholeheartedly to the Bowstring tenets of personal commitment, honest communication and unyielding focus that must embody every client engagement.
Ross leads Bowstring’s Healthcare Services team. With his deep sector knowledge and his experience as an attorney, Ross offers clients a unique combination of expertise, advice and advocacy. Representative transactions include the sale of Gwinnett Emergency Specialists to Envision Healthcare and the recapitalization of PharmaLogics by Webster Capital.
Ross joined Bowstring Advisors in 2014 to expand and focus the firm’s coverage of middle-market healthcare services businesses. Over the course of 15 years as an investment banking professional, Ross has worked with public and private companies across the full spectrum of healthcare. He has executed over 50 M&A and financing transactions.
Prior to joining Bowstring, Ross led the healthcare services effort as part of a senior team tasked with the launch of the investment banking division of Duncan-Williams, Inc. Previously, he was a Vice President in Piper Jaffray’s healthcare investment banking group and a founding member of the firm’s New York office in 2004. Ross began his career in the healthcare group of UBS Investment Bank in New York.
Ross is a graduate of Vanderbilt University. He received his JD from The University of Georgia School of Law and his MBA from Columbia Business School. He lives in Atlanta with his wife and two children.
Ross’ deep knowledge of our industry and network across the buyer landscape created a very competitive environment for our transaction. However, it was his ability to understand the objectives of our various shareholders, his focus on the details and his accessibility that gave us great confidence in him as our advisor.
